While the winner here drinks out of the bell, I wonder if Wabash uses it to puke in? At the bell game you see guys wearing shirts saying Wabash gets no pussy, buts that’s not true, they get each other. Potts took pictures if you want a Wabash picture we got em. (By the way if your wondering why Potts is my roommates nickname it’s not that he like Harry Potter, its exactly what you are thinking).

The broners were on the verge of an incident today when tgmalov pulled out his “Creation in Symphony” videos.  The videos are part of a documentary series put together by the Creation Evidences Museum in Texas.  They claim to disprove evolution…I wouldn’t know though because pep band caught up with me and I slept straight through the whole affair.  After the video was over though, the broners got into a hot debate about evolution and creationism, abortion and prayer in school, what freedoms we have and what freedoms we should have, capitalism v. communism, life and death, basically we ran the gamut of debate.

Thankfully for us, George Clooney as Daniel Ocean stepped in to save the day, qickly ending the debate and providing a night’s worth of quality entertainment.  I don’t doubt however that if we had kept our debate up, we would have come away from it with the same brotherhood we always have.  I guess that’s just the magic of brone. We got it, you don’t.  Tough cookies, eh?

As a side note: the den was out of TangoMango tonight.  Sad day people.
I think I’ll try to catch breakfast at the hub tomorrow.  It’s been a while and I need to start my day off right again.

I write in a journal on my laptop because I’m not ready to share these things with you yet.  I don’t think you’re ready to hear them either.  It’s definitely confusing.  I don’t know where it’s going…I don’t know where I’m going.  I don’t know what I want and even though I know who I am, I wonder if that person could or should change.

If you read it this far and you’re still understanding what I’m saying, kudos to you.  I don’t even know…and that’s what makes this season of my life so confusing.

So I went to a Secret Santa party with all my friends tonight.  It was pretty fun, and I racked up on the presents!  You see, in a secret santa you draw names out of a hat and everyone is supposed to get one gift…right?  well… not this time. Two of my friends both were under the impression that they were supposed to get a gift for me, so I had 2 secret santas!!!!!!  woo hoo.

(as you listen to what my secret santas got me, bear in mind that they did not talk to each other about what they were getting beforehand)

My first secret santa, wade, got me a nice little book called “What’s Your Poo Telling You?”

This book is a wonderful little bathroom tool, complete with illustrations explaining all the different types of bowel movements one can have and what they each mean about your health.  Different types of poo include: Poo-phoria, The Chinese Star, Number Three, The Pebble Poo, The Hanging Chad, and the Monster Poo. (I have wanted this book for a long time.  This is not a joke.)

Then, just when I thought things couldn’t get better, my second secret santa, tom, gave me the companion book to “What’s Your Poo Telling You?”, the “Poo Log”.

the “Poo Log” is a wonderful little record keeping book to go along with my wonderful little bathroom tool.  Every page is a new fill in the blank chart which allows me to take statistics about my poo.

So to recap:

3. Journal the poo, in my “Poo Log”.
4. Review my “Poo Log” to keep close tabs on my health.

I’m back home in sexy lexy for two weeks though, so I’ll be getting plenty of sleep here.  Christmas is coming up, and I get to see the old friends, so it should be an all around dandy time.

I want to take some time to reflect on finals week though while I have the chance… (and since i’m so tired, it’s going to be a list)

1. Finals Week = no sleep.
2. Study breaks are better when your brain is fried.
3. Julian is a good place to study. (if by study you mean get distracted)
4. Professors have an uncanny ability to be friendly while they crush your grades.
5. Marvins Delivers…need I say more?
6. Ice Storms make it a lot harder to walk back from the library
7. Make sure to write all of your papers early instead of putting them off, then you can go home.
8. When you have your 50th cup of coffee from a vending machine, you’ve gone too far.
9. Ashley Square Movies.  Free or $1.
10. Run the boulder, rub the owl.

I hope you enjoy that list of finals happiness, I still can’t see straight, and as soon as i finish this sentence, which is becoming longer and longer and longer, I’m going to go to bed (even though I like my bed at school more than my bed at home).

While I’ll admit that my finals week has consisted of getting hammered and watching countless movies on surf the channel, the brotherhood has spent most of time with Julian and Roy. My mind wants me to believe that studying is a fruitless escapade that will not help me get a better grade, but I really think I have reached the point in the semester where I just say fuck it; I’m not studying. After spending a semester with Inge plus staying up late almost every night to the point that my eyes were red and looked like I was blazed, I can’t blame myself.

Disregard the part of the last paragraph that said I haven’t studied because I lied. I did study for a few hours the night before my Organic Chemistry final and I just finished studying a few hours for my Calculus II exam. I have studied in the conventional sense of the word but not in the collegiate sense of the word. To define collegiate studying ask broner about his finals week. This man needs to be payed overtime because he works from 10 to 11 (or more). I’m not talking an hour, I’m talking 13+ hours.

In my boredom I first thought that winter term is going to suck, if I’m this bored. Then I got to thinking, no one will be studying, everyone will have nothing to do, and when people have nothing to do a lot happens.

Well, before I go I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Now if you’ll excuse me I gotta use this computer for something constructive…I need it to go to surf the channel.

Wow…I was just wondering today how it got to be December.  Was it not just yesterday that I came here to school and sat around with my mentor group eating vegan lasagana in Lilly?  (Yes. Yes it was…and vegan lasagana, just for the record, is not good.)

Anyways though…I went with Marcus, and Southern Tom over to eat lunch at phi-land (that’s alpha phi for all you noobs).  Wow.  What a lunch.  We had some awesome burgers and some happy hash browns.  They also had this amazing taco salad thing with fritos and beans and all kinds of great veggies.  Let’s just say it was the best ever.  Everybody was really nice too.  Just throwing this out there, but if I was a girl, I think I might want to be an alpha phi.

Oh me oh my.  I have been having some insane sneezes today.  I am sitting right in the middle of Marvs right now, and I just had the world’s biggest sneeze.

One more story.  We were on our way to Roy tonight, and I decided I would drive.  I don’t understand why this happened, but when we got in the car, there was frost on the inside of the windows.  Freaked me out.  So i wasn’t really thinking, but I took my ice scraper and just started scraping the inside of my windows.  Bad idea people.  Car got a little wet.

Also tgmalov: sorry I dissapoint.  I feel like this post doesn’t really make up the difference.  I’ll see what I can do, but I bet things might be a little slow til the end of finals.

I slowly am becoming some nocturnal creature, called manbearbat. It’s half man, half bear, and half bat. Manbearbat is a creature that feeds off late night college students that stay up late typing a paper, studying, blogging, getting hammered, peeing in bed, or whatever else college students do. After each late night the student gets closer and closer to becoming manbearbat until they become a creature hunted by Al Gore.

Manbearbat is real. I’m really super cereal.

Things in BR have been nice lately.  Life here since Thanksgiving break has been a lot more distracting, but it’s a good kind of distracting.  I think a lot of it can be attributed to how much I’m really becoming friends with the broners now.  It’s not the kind of thing anymore where I just like them because I have to live next to them for a year…I really do love them a lot.  Thanks guys.

Ok, so now that I had my little sentimental moment, I think I’m going to go on to bed.  It’s just been one of those days for me honestly.  I’m feeling a little sick, and I am looking for some sleep pronto.
